50% TRAINING REIMBURSEMENT
The Employer Training Investment Program (ETIP) is a program run by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity that reimburses employers for up to 50% of what they spend on eligible training costs for their employees. Most trainings besides sales are covered; call ICNC with questions.Training from July 1, 2009 until at least December 31, 2010 can be considered. You’ll need to fill out the following forms and provide some additional information to apply.

Company profile: general information about your company and your signature
Company survey: your opinion on how the training helped your company
perform better, increase sales, or improve in other ways
Participating employee report: information about the employees
that were trained
Attendance sheet: signatures of trainees and the trainer (this sheet
only for trainings conducted at your location; off-site trainings do
not require this but need some evidence of completion, such as a
letter from the employer or a certificate of completion)
Trainee retention report: information about whether trained
employees are still with your company after 90 and 180 days,
and your signature
