Kinzie Krawl

FCC’s Tenant-sponsored event, the "Kinzie Krawl" was the first of its kind and a great success - over 200 people, high energy, great food & drinks, climbing walls, games, etc. … all held in a large tenant space at FCC. Tenants showed off their wares and presented who they are and what they do to a large crowd.

The key to the event's success was surely a core group of tenants taking ownership of it and knocking on doors to get their peers to participate. More and more people are starting to know each other at FCC and we are very glad to see the community growing stronger and more dynamic right before our eyes.

The gathering was put together as a kick-off for an even bigger event - an open house of FCC which was held September 15, 2005 and open to the larger community. Again, many tenants participated and the core group worked diligently to get the word out and to solicit not only tenants, but local business as well. Over 40 businesses participated and 300 guests visited the business booths. The event was business to business networking at it's best.

The next "Kinzie Krawl" (soon to be bigger than the infamous "Around the Coyote") is sure to be bigger, better and another rousing success for Kinzie Corridor business. Contact Lori Crowder at ICNC for more information on the next "Kinzie Krawl."
