FUNDING SOURCES
Member Companies
Over 400 companies contribute to ICNC through their annual membership dues and donations.
City of Chicago Department of Community Services (DCD)
provides funding to ICNC to further its mission of retaining and strengthening industry in the corridor. DCD supports our outreach to companies regarding City services, programs and grants as well as our Business Employment Services program which places area job-seekers in jobs in the Kinzie Corridor.
State of IL Dept of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO)
supports the following ICNC programs (described under ICNC Services):
- Small Business Development Center (SBDC) - consulting to companies
- Employee Training Investment Program (ETIP) - 50% training subsidies
- Digital Divide - ICNC's computer center and software classes.
Eleanor Foundation
funds KIDC's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program which provides opportunities for working women in Chicago to advance their careers through EMT training classes at ICNC and placement.
Public Allies
shares costs with KIDC for a year-round internship opportunity.
LISC - Local Initiative Support Corporation
has funded several temporary and summer internships.

Fulton Carroll Center Incubator
FCC funds come through tenant rents which are reinvested in the building. All tenant services are funded through the grants and funding sources above.
