Empowerment Zone (EZ)

 

Benefits for residents and companies located in the Empowerment Zone (EZ) include:

• Employer wage credits of up to $3000 per employee who lives and works in the EZ

• Tax deductions on certain properties

• Tax deductions for certain equipment purchases

• Tax-exempt bond financing for expansion within the zone
