The Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at ICNC

Now in its third year, the Illinois SBDC at ICNC has served more than 230 companies.  The Illinois SBDC at ICNC offers confidential, in-depth, one-on-one business counseling/consulting to established, new, or pre-venture companies free of charge.

 

A partnership between the Small Business Administration (SBA), Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), and ICNC, our counselors come from private sector firms with proven experience and real-world success.  For assistance call 312-733-2373 or email sbdc@industrialcouncil.com,

 

The Illinois SBDC at ICNC has provided more than 2,000 hours of counseling, helping businesses obtain more than $9.5 million dollars in debt and equity financing and is a registered Technical Assistance Provider for SBA Community Express loans.   Other areas of assistance

include:

·               Loans, working capital, lines of credit and real estate loans including SBA 7a, 504,   Government Participation Loans and ICNC's own Revolving Loan Fund

·               Licensure

·               Business plans, marketing plans, market research (SBDCNET)

·               Management issues, including human resources and e-commerce

·               Strategic planning, financial statement analysis and cash flow projections

·               Intellectual property information (patent/trademark)

·               Direct import/export assistance and referrals

·               Educating, training, and retaining employees

 

All SBA programs are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.
