About Us
Khloros Interior Landscaping is a small but fast-growing boutique interior landscaping firm based in Chicago. We are looking for a "plant" guy or gal to service our clients' properties throughout the city (CTA accessible) & Suburbs.
Are you the type of person who gets excited about nurturing plants? This is the opportunity for YOU! We currently need someone on a part-time basis. This will start around 10-20 hours a week with room for growth. Hours of operation: 9-5 Monday thru Friday
What You’ll Do
● Maintain and install plants on jobsite(s) to industry standards.
● Perform maintenance on a regular service schedule, including watering, pruning, pest
control, and general plant clean-up.
● Removing any damaged or unsightly foliage
● Preventing damage to surrounding floors, walls, and furniture from water and/or moisture
● Communicate any deficiencies in proper protocol
● Provide friendly, professional communication with clients.
● Continuously maintain proper maintenance and safe use of company tools, equipment,
and vehicles
Who You Are
● A valid driver’s license is a plus. A van will be provided on delivery days. Most routes are CTA accessible.
● MVR Background checks are required
● Comfortable navigating in the city
● Must be technologically savvy as we use a smartphone to communicate via email and
track your hours.
● Ability to comfortably do strenuous work requiring good vision, hearing, climbing,
balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, walking, bending, lifting, and the ability to work
an 4-6 hour day in varying office conditions
● Be able to lift 35-50 lbs with ease
● Must be able to climb ladders and have good dexterous use of both hands
● Work both independently and as a team and be able to prioritize daily scheduling
● Dedication to providing great customer service and having a clean and neat appearance.
● Must adhere to Dress code
● Approach job duties with a sense of ownership, reliability, commitment, honesty, loyalty,
and integrity
● Willing to learn and continually learn about industry standards and the benefits of plants
● Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet
● Experience with plants is a bonus!
