· ~30 hours/week, including availability on weekends and holidays
· Minimum $20/hour including wages and tips; paid weekly. Compensation could be higher depending on sales volume
· Available shifts are 10am - 3pm, Monday through Saturday
· Monthly parking or CTA/Pace allowance provided

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Line/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing our gourmet sandwiches and ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their culinary career in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and assembling sandwich components according to our recipes and standards.
Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to local and state food safety and sanitation standards.
Inventory Management: Help manage inventory by checking stock levels, rotating products, and notifying the kitchen manager of any shortages or issues.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house employees to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Quality Control: Ensure all dishes are prepared to our high standards, including taste, appearance, and portion size.
Qualifications
Experience: Prior restaurant kitchen experience preferred. A passion for food and a willingness to learn are essential.
Certification: Current Food Handler or Food Service Sanitation Manager license or willingness to obtain prior to hiring is required.
Skills: Basic familiarity with kitchen equipment are a plus, but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
Attributes: Positive attitude, professionalism, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed, and handle assigned tasks as needed.
