Illinois SBDC for Minority Businesses
The recent civil unrest seen and felt within our state and across the country speaks to longstanding disparities in racial and economic justice. These systemic injustices must be addressed not just through words but through the actions of our leaders, lawmakers, enforcement agencies, and within our communities. The Illinois Small Business Development Center Network will continue to do our part supporting Illinois minority small businesses and entrepreneurs by offering advising, training, and other relevant resources to create and grow businesses, reduce the racial and ethnic income and wealth gap, and foster an environment of economic equality. Our support, thoughts and prayers are with our staff, our partners, and clients during these challenging and emotional times.

The Illinois Small Business Development Center at ICNC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, and the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago (ICNC).
