Your primary role: As Craft Ice Delivery Driver you will be part of our small Delivery team and responsible for delivering our carefully crafted ice to our customers in a timely manner. You will:
- Learn how to grow, cut, and package craft ice cubes and spheres
- Pack cooler bags with product in a freezer (±20°F) and load the truck for your delivery
- Drive a refrigerated truck and monitor temperature throughout your delivery schedule
- Follow a predetermined route and navigate through downtown Chicago and its suburbs
- Deliver cases, boxes, and bags of ice to grocery and liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and hotels in and around Chicago on a daily basis
- Stock Quari branded refrigerators upon delivery
- Deliver invoices and pick up checks from customers
- Ensure timely deliveries and handling of the product with care
- Maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness
- Be a brand ambassador – you will be the face of Quari to our customers
Required skills and competences:
- Valid driver’s license and insurance with accident-free driving history
- Experience in delivering a food service product within Chicago and surrounding Chicago areas (preferably 2+ years)
- Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation systems (maps and GPS) to navigate routes and find delivery locations (preferably own a cell phone with data plan)
- Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule
- Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy and be able to load and unload product from the vehicle
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients
- Perform work with attention to detail
- Lift up to 75 pounds with ease and handle with care
- Willingness to be part of a team and operate in a very dynamic environment
- Focused, committed, and reliable work attitude

We offer:
- 8-hour shifts with overtime (Monday to Friday; open to periodic weekend deliveries)
- Start at $16/hour and move up to $18/hour after 90-day trial period
