Food Packing Assistant - Chicago, IL

A food production company located at Fulton and Damen is in need of 2-3 packing assistants. They will be responsible for assembling food boxes for the USDA. As a Food Packing Assistant you will be responsible picking and packing food per procedure.

A successful candidate is focused on:

• Following proper procedures
• Meeting all deadlines
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (25-40 lbs) regularly
• Be able to stand for 8 hours
• Problem-solver

This position requires strong communication skills, teamwork and leadership. The ability to work independent of direct supervision is also important.
Scheduled hours can occur between 8am-6pm, Monday - Friday.

Salary:
$14.00 /hour
