Impact Culinary Training Details
Impact Culinary Training Background
Our program came about to address the need for skilled, trained kitchen staff in Chicago's restaurants and the high unemployment rates among young adults on Chicago's West Side. The program was created through a partnership between Chef Rick Bayless and the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago (ICNC) and The Hatchery Chicago with support from Allies for Community Business, the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, the Illinois Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, and Conagra.
