Kitchen Production Assistant/Prep Cook (Part-Time) - Chicago, IL
A growing Japanese street food company located in the Hatchery (135 N Kedzie) is in need of an experienced Kitchen Production Assistant (Part-time). The company makes Japanese street food (rice balls).
Hours of Operation:
6:30 AM to 11:30 AM for 3-5 days a week. No weekends presently.
Hours of Week:
15-20 hours
Hourly Rate:
$13.50
- Mixing ingredients per recipe
- Packaging finished product for sale
- Basic kitchen sanitation
- ServSafe Food Handling certificate is required
- One year of experience in a commercial kitchen is a plus
- Interest in healthy food and Japanese culture is a bonus
