Job Overview:
A Japanese street food company located in The Hatchery (135 N Kedzie) is in need of a Kitchen Production Manager (Full-time). The Kitchen Production Manager has an opportunity to create a product unlike anything else in the United States. She/he is an organized, efficient food producer with careful attention to quality. She/he enjoys being in the kitchen, creating healthy products for customers. The Kitchen Production Manager will oversee production and assist in the production of different rice balls while ensuring consistent quality.

$17.00 to $20.00 (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate purchasing of food and supplies
- Manage and schedule staff
- Coordinate and communicate with external delivery services
- Be a hands on kitchen producer
Qualifications:
- Must have City of Chicago Food Manager Certification
- Minimum High School Education or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen, managing a production process on her/his own or with a team
- Self-motivated, organized, efficient, careful quality to detail
- Interest in healthy food is a bonus
- Able to carry 40-50lbs at a time (just for moving product occasionally)
