Motorcycle Mechanic - Chicago, IL

We need passionate team members to do so. 

We are in search of a Service Technician/Motorcycle Mechanic for our Grand and Damen in Chicago, IL location.

Responsibilities:

• Competent in diagnosing and repairing all makes, models and years of motorcycle. Strong emphasis on Honda and Harley-Davidson. (Desired not required)
• Must be able to accurately perform full and complete diagnosis on products in for service. (Desired not required)
• Must be able to communicate repairs necessary both verbally and in writing to managers.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to safety and quality workmanship.
• Be able to work in a clean, professional manner.
• Be able to follow safety guidelines both in the workshop and when out on test rides.
• Be able to train, mentor, and transfer skills to less experienced technicians.
• Proficient in meeting deadlines and completing work productively and profitably.
• Abide by all policies pertaining to the department.
• Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and/or the dealership as a whole.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees.
• From time to time work weekends, evenings and extra shifts to assist in company productivity with minimal tardiness.

Requirements:
• One year of experience is desired but not required.
• Must possess a current M1 motorcycle endorsement and a valid driver’s license
• Previous motorcycle dealership experience (desired)

Hourly Rate:
Hourly dependent on skill level. Range is between $15-$25 per hour.
