Parcel Invoice Auditor - Chicago, IL
Primary Function
Individual will work in a multi-client environment with a primary focus on auditing parcel invoices according to contract terms, resolving invoicing discrepancies and identifying root cause for correction.

Individual will work in a multi-client environment with a primary focus on auditing parcel invoices according to contract terms, resolving invoicing discrepancies and identifying root cause for correction.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze client parcel invoices for invalid or irregular charges
- Audit parcel invoices by interpreting and applying parcel carrier rate provisions and customer contract
- Ensure credits are applied to the associated client accounts
- Log all auditing activity for internal and external reports
- Ensure account audits are completed accurately and efficiently
- Keep visibility of potential rate and carrier rule changes and carrier compliance or service interruptions
- Maintain SOP documentation for primary role
- Assist clients and carriers to troubleshoot invoice and payment issues
- Provide back-up support to teammates as needed
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all clients
- Report client feedback to management, including any signs of client dissatisfaction
- Answer client inquiries regarding parcel services
- Assist and train fellow employees as needed
- Other tasks as assigned
Experience and Education:
- 2+ years logistics and transportation industry experience
- Strong knowledge of parcel operations
- Must possess Microsoft Excel software proficiency
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
- Requires strong time management and organization skills
- Requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Requires negotiation skills
