Depending on experience the salary range is from $55,000 to $75,000

Responsibilities
- Observes, follows, and upholds all safety rules and guidelines as per safety training instruction.
- Sets the example for safety conduct, also monitors direct reports and co-workers for safety performance and conduct routinely on a daily basis.
- Reports to upper management as needed any worker who is observed to be non-safety or quality compliant after immediately stopping or correcting the non-compliance.
- Coordinate and control labor resources and production facilities to provide timely service to customers.
- Acts as the communication link between the company and the customer in developing production and delivery schedules.
- Responsible for written confirmation of delivery schedules back to customer base via email, fax, etc. with the assistance of the order entry clerk and or Shipping Invoicing Clerk as required by Customer base.
- Communicates and interacts with order entry and shipping & invoicing positions as needed to ensure customer requirements for orders, shipping, invoicing, are executed correctly.
- Manages and develops production supervisory personnel on a daily basis, i.e. Start up plans, First Time Runs, Schedule daily order completion commitments.
- Provides production labor as required per chemical and maintenance preventative and reactive schedules.
- Communicates production requirements to support groups on a daily basis as changes occur to the production schedule.
- Communicates company expectations, production schedule changes, labor variances, safety, quality measures, chemical and maintenance requirements or schedules, to production supervisory staff via weekly meetings.
- Responsible for the management of execution of production planning at the production floor level, i.e., coordinates equipment and personnel needed to execute production Plan with Production Supervisory Personnel.
- Motivates and expects each Production Department Supervisor to perform continuous improvement activities to better efficiencies, meet and or exceed customer requirements on a routine daily basis.
- Documents personnel concerns, problems, or injuries reported.
- Coordinates and manages all outside processing as required for production orders i.e. sandblast, prep, plate, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining attendance records of all production personnel
- Performs Timecard reporting of all production personnel with the assistance of Production Department Supervisors.
- Motivates Department Supervisors to positively interact with co-managers, follow directives, and facilitate problem-solving activities that are production, process or chemically related.
- Production Manager is responsible for the quality of his own work as well as the quality performance of his direct reports.
- Promotes a TEAM environment
- Participates in external and internal problem solving activities as required.
- Participates in internal audits.
- To initiate hiring and termination for production positions.
- To adjust production schedule and labor resources.
- To discipline direct reports and production personnel when necessary.
- To stop production if necessary.
- To initiate corrective action.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Able to effectively communicate with Customer Base both verbally and via email as needed.
- Able to implement disciplinary actions as needed with
- Positive interaction skills with upper management, co-managers, and employees
- Basic problem solving skills
- Able to develop production plan to meet RPC customer schedule demands
- Able to work with supporting departments i.e. quality, chemical, building maintenance etc., as needed to meet and maintain daily productivity and quality goals
- Able to set daily goals for Department Supervisory direct reports for productivity, quality and housekeeping.
- Able to manage direct reports and direct labor personnel for effective time management and prevent mis-use of company time.
- Able to motivate and promote a positive work environment on a daily routine basis.
