Khepri Cafe is a Coffee Shop, Retail Store, and Education/Community Center located in the heart of Albany Park and only a few steps from the Brown Line Kedzie train stop.
Khepri Cafe is a forward thinking Cafe that blends the natural benefits of Cannabidiol (“CBD”) and healthy food options. The Cafe’s focus will be on offering a great selection of coffees, teas, and healthy breakfast and lunch fare.
The Cafe houses a retail space out of which we will sell CBD products and rel ated items. In the evenings, the Cafe will be closed and the space will be used as a community center, open to various individuals and groups for health, education, and other community-focused purposes.

$15.00 an hour

Qualifications and Essential Functions:
- Prior experience as a cook or recent graduation from culinary school (preferred).
- Flexible shift times.
- Trained professional who works with fresh ingredients for food preparation.
- Plan, prepare and carry out weekly prep work for food service during cafe hours.
- Maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and meet and exceed both company and customer expectations.
- Assist in the creation/implementation of menu items.
- Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures.
- Monitor food inventory levels and order product when necessary.
- Manage and maintain safe working conditions.
- Provide proper training for team members, when necessary.
- Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action.
- Ensure continual improvement of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
- Insure menu repeatability/consistency.
- Food Handling Manager license a plus.
Salary:
$15.00 an hour
