We are seeking a Sales Operations Administrator to join our team and be the key member that keeps the sales engine running smoothly by processing sales orders through our system, from acceptance to processing and invoicing. The ideal candidate is process-oriented, upbeat and resourceful. Responsibilities include processing orders through DEAR Inventory, maintaining our Dropship Program, Faire.com and B2B system integrations, all with a focus on driving operational efficiency and increasing sales. Modern Sprout is rapidly growing and employs career-minded individuals who are looking to grow and level up with the company. This is a full time, exempt position and reports to the Director of Sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process wholesale orders for our Specialty, Drop Ship and Corporate Gifting Channels.
• Monitor and manage order submissions and integrations that sync from multiple systems, including our B2B portal, Faire.com, multiple drop ship partner portals, Brandwise/Pharos and other rep systems.
• Execute customer service requests, such as issuing credits, damage replacements and samples a needed.
• Coordinate with the Fulfillment/Logistics team to ensure smooth order flow, availability accuracy, and timely deliveries.
• Maintain accuracy and update sales data in ERP (Dear Inventory), including customer records, rep assignments and pricing tiers.
• Develop ERP based reports (DEAR Inventory) as needed.
• Maintain Drop Ship program, ensuring accuracy in product listings and availability.
• Support Sales team on communications, customer service, and tradeshow support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Proven work experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Operations or Order Processing role, min 1 year.
• Experience utilizing an ERP for order fulfillment and inventory management. Familiarity with DEAR Inventory a plus, as well a Ship Station, Shopify and Quick Books.
• Understanding of distribution center, direct to store, dropship and direct to consumer orders and fulfillment requirements.
• Tech savvy and process oriented with strong critical thinking skills; someone who is able to easily adopt our existing systems and work with leadership to develop and execute new systems and automation to manage growth.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A team player with a love for collaborating and the ability to work within different internal groups to enhance the customer experience.
• Flexible, curious and willing to ask questions and investigate solutions. Thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment and understands that comes with ambiguity.
• Organized with strong ability to multitask and manage several customers, work flows and prioritize demands throughout the day.
• Green thumb and love for plants is major a plus.
