We are looking for a self-starter In House/Field Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that maximizes customer relations and increases profitability.
Responsibilities
- Provide service and customer support during field service visits and in house repairs
- Utilize company CRM to provide service quotes, track repair status, and update troubleshooting log
- Manage on site installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance, 50% overnight travel
- Assist production department in assembly and QC testing of instruments
- Plan daily travel schedule; document and research customer issues, order and gather components and parts, make travel arrangements, complete repair and documentation
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports and expense reports
- Visit customers to promote service
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner
- Follow all company’s procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Increase job knowledge through self-study
Requirements
- Proven field service experience
- 0-3 years of experience with a degree
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- English literacy required, Spanish a plus
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Electronics Technical degree or certification or experience
- Your own vehicle, Valid driver’s license and insurance
