Bilingual Shipping and Receiving Associate at Reliable Plating Corporation

Overview:
A mid-size business is looking to hire a Bilingual Shipping & Receiving Associate to assist in the daily operations.  Join our energetic and precise Shipping and Receiving team and help us to continue our Legacy of RELIABILITY!  

• You must speak English and Spanish
• Extremely detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Multitasking is a must. 
• You will report to the Production Manager and Shipping/Invoicing Associate to help oversee the warehouse processes to ensure smooth flow.  Working with our office staff and being a team player is required!

 
Location: 1538 W. Lake Street (Ashland and Lake Streets) CTA Accessible Green Line Ashland stop.
 
Hours and Shift: The hours are 7am – 4:30 PM Monday – Friday.  You may be asked to work overtime or some Saturdays.
 
Hourly rate: The rate of pay is $16.00- $18.00 per hour.
 
Responsibilities:

• Follows shipping and receiving processing steps as per documented work instructions.
• Compares packing slips to items received, logging all pertinent information on primary paperwork before signing for shipment.
• Facilitates the movement of customer parts and purchased materials from the receiving areas to storage, holding or production.
• Communicates and interacts positively with freight company personnel, customer drivers, co-workers, production personnel and management.
• Maintains shipping/receiving staging areas clean, clutter free and organized.
• Observes and follows all safety rules and guidelines as per RPC safety training instructions.

 
Abilities & Requirements:

• Bilingual
• Able to read and write English.
• Legible handwriting skills
• Able to drive a forklift and utilize a hand truck.
• Able to lift between 0- 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude – promotes Team environment.
