Job Summary:
This is an administrative support position responsible for advanced clerical work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle organizational and clerical and support tasks
- Processing documents and data & maintain records and computer files
- Proofing, referencing and retrieving data & ability to check their own work to completion
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Create, edit & update spreadsheet and the ability to report statistics
- Prepares and types correspondence, minutes, and agendas and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and detailed documentation on actions which may encompass legal ramifications
- Researches databases to obtain information as required.
- Operates computer, calculator, copier, postage meter, fax machine and/or other office equipment.
- Light Accounting duties & understands working in an Accounting Department environment
- Ability to edit and update Departmental SOPs
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Perform receptionist duties when needed & provide general support to visitors
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years experience in office administration with proven track record of attendance & punctuality
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, team player, flexibility without being overwhelmed
- Positive, upbeat attitude, detail oriented, self-reliant with strong interpersonal, verbal & written skills
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills, with excellent time management & prioritization skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Excellent aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent data entry skills (50+ WPM desired)
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Positive, professional focused problem solver with a sense of urgency
- Ability to apply critical thinking and common sense to everyday tasks
