We are a small natural hair business looking to hire a Warehouse Manager to assist our Operations Manager and Team. In this role you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the warehouse team of 12+, ordering the necessary components of our products and shipping and delivering orders to major retailers, and assisting the Operations Manager. As the Warehouse Manager you must be meticulous and extremely detailed oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of multi-tasking. Experience with Oracle NetSuite a major plus!

We are a small natural hair business looking to hire a Warehouse Manager to assist our Operations Manager and Team. In this role you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the warehouse team of 12+, ordering the necessary components of our products and shipping and delivering orders to major retailers, and assisting the Operations Manager. As the Warehouse Manager you must be meticulous and extremely detailed oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of multi-tasking. Experience with Oracle NetSuite a major plus!
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 12+ employees onsite at our Chicago warehouse 5 days a week.
- Oversee warehouse SOP’s and processes and suggest room for improvement
- Forecast inventory needs for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Order supplies for production runs from two contract manufacturers
- Assist contract manufacturers with scheduling pickups for completed product.
- Monitor inventory at our off-site storage facility.
- Review retailer forecasts and ordering
- Review and analyze our supply chain and components for cost reductions savings
- Ensure minimum inventory levels always remain stocked
- Schedule deliveries to retailers using our logistics system
- Input orders in the system from Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Whole Foods and Mariano’s
- Identify cost savings on ordering (e.g. ordering in bulk, asking for discounts, sourcing supplies from overseas, etc.)
- Respond to requests from retailers and brokers
- Notetaking on conference calls
- On-line File Management
- Coordinate Online Sales between Operations and the E-commerce Manager
Education and Experience:
- Experience with Oracle/Netsuite strongly preferred
- Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Extremely Organized
- Acute multi-tasking skills
- Flexible and able to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Exceptional Time Management Skills
- Analytical
